It was shortly after we lost our loving companion “Nikita”, when my husband passed on to me pictures and information regarding Shiloh Shepherd puppies for sale. I wasn’t looking to replace Nikita, as there is no replacement for a canine member of the family. We were looking for another companion and new member to join a loving family, one that would share our love and become a part of our family. After researching the breed, it seemed like the perfect fit and I contacted Malvon Shiloh’s as they were taking applications.
After waiting anxiously, Bella came into our lives, a gorgeous girl with such personality and I must say she fits right into our family. Every one who meets her cannot believe how well mannered and good natured she is. The Shiloh Shepherd is known for its good temperament and incredibly friendly. Their beauty is absolutely stunning. Her ancestors come from a line of beauty and perfection, anyone would be proud to be the owner of one of these beauties just as we are.
Yvonne, the breeder of Malvon Shiloh Shepherds is absolutely phenomenal. Her character is of the utmost respectable, caring and loving nature. She takes great pride and joy in raising the breed. I can’t say enough great attributes about her. If you are fortunate enough to match the standards required to receive one of her pups, considerable yourself truly fortunate. Yvonne does not give her pups to just anyone, there must be the perfect suitability. Yvonne has been extremely helpful through the whole process making it a comfortable transition from her home to ours. She is always available to help with any questions or concerns and never makes you feel that you are imposing on her.
Our Bella is truly amazing and we couldn’t be more proud to have her as part of our family. I highly recommend Malvon Shiloh puppies to anyone who is interested in owning a dog with a smooth temperament, sweet, gentle and friendly to all people and creatures. Yvonne, thank you for allowing us to be part of your family and joining a journey of the Shiloh Shepherd.
Sincerely
Linda, Craig and family
Yellow girl from Ava x Luke litter 2012 Annie, (a.k.a. Yellow Girl, Ava x Luke litter) came to us in January 2012. She is a beautiful, smart, loving girl who we cherish and who has already brought our family so much joy. She has adjusted so well to our existing animal family of two older female dogs, five cats and 3 horses. She shows intelligent respect to the horses, but is not afraid, which is very good. Annie came to us already crate trained which was a wonderful accomplishment to Yvonne, one which we are very thankful for. She has seen two different vets at our clinic for her booster shots and both commented on what a wonderful temperament she has, beautiful coat, and what a big girl she is promising to be! She has been relatively easy to train - already knows how to sit, shake a paw, and lie down! If Annie is a typical example of what the Shiloh Shepherd breed stands for, I have a feeling we will carry forward with the Shiloh's, and never look back! Gillian Charrois Sundre, Alberta
Blue boy from Ava x Max litter 2012
I read a story about the Shiloh Shepherd a few years ago and was interested in finding an adult rescue to train as a therapy dog when I started e-mail conversations with Malvon Shiloh's. Since rescues were few and far between, Yvonne convinced me to consider one of her puppies. I am so glad I did! Ranger has been an amazing puppy from the second I picked him up. I have enjoyed every precious moment. He is smart, intuitive, easy-going, protective and sociable.
While my AKC Boxer bounces off the wall, Ranger is the opposite; calm and a gentle giant. Sweet and loving; creating the perfect balance but can throw his weight around in rough play that is both fun and hysterical to watch!
On the flip side, as I walked Ranger a few nights ago, one of my neighbors startled us. Taz did not react, as he knew him. Ranger immediately alerted and stepped in front of me barking but did not move toward the man. (Exactly what is expectly of this beautiful dog!) The man froze in his tracks.
I was amazed that this young pup already acts protective, although does not yet understand why. Once I calmed him and said it was okay, he settled, wagged his tail and allowed the man to come pet him.
I told Yvonne I want 10 more puppies like this! (Of course I don't have the room for them ha!)
I am so thankful to Yvonne and her family who put, love, time, effort and energy into their work; the results are nothing short of amazing. I plan to train Ranger to work as a therapy dog as I take him with me into schools, nursing homes, to my clients and teach the proper ways to meet/greet dogs, feeding and nutrition, puppy and various care techniques. He already comes with me on river valley walks, street walks, to crowded performances and is such a socialble puppy. Ranger will be more than a blessing to me, my family and those I service for years to come.
